This 6 days fly in Safari takes you to a true wilderness park, dry, hot and isolated, yet spectacular, magnificent and virgin. On this safari you will enjoy the isolated wilderness dominated by the 2,70m Mount Morungole which is transected by the Kidepo and great Narus rivers. Perennial rains may make Kidepo an oasis in the semi – desert and also you will have a chance to embark on a cultural trail to know more about the Karamjong people who are related to the East African Masaai people. On the cultural trail know about their lifestyle, culture, dressing style, dancing and their tools used. The Karamjong are traditionally cattle raiders and hunters, however through community conservation education, their lifestyle is gradually changing and most of them now know the value of conservation of the park.

DAY 1:- Entebbe area, Camping

Upon your arrival in Uganda at Entebbe airport, your guide will pick you and give a full safari briefing and take you shopping for your safari drinks then head to your designated campsite.  Depending on your flight details, the first highlight of your safari will be a sunset boat cruise or nature walk. Camping will be Botanical gardens Entebbe at a camp-site with permanent ablutions.

DAY 2: Fly to Kidepo

Wake up and enjoy breakfast on the shores of Lake Victoria. Africa’s largest fresh water lake. After we will take you to Entebbe airport where you will board a light aircraft that will take you on a short flight to one of the most remotest regions of Uganda.  Have lunch at your designated private campsite after you check in and find yourself up close with animals even before you go on a game drive in the late afternoon. Don't forget a dip in the fabulous safari library. Full board for your stay here

Late Afternoon Game Drive through the Narus Valley where you will sight herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah.  Besides that there are the many birds you might find along the way.  This is a slow drive so that you do not miss anything, stopping wherever you desire to take pictures of the fabulous wildlife and birds, fauna and flora along the way. Return to the campsite for dinner to the sights and sounds of the Kidepo Valley around you.

DAY 3: Game Drives & Cultural Trail

Arise to a fabulous breakfast and a cup of coffee or tea while you peruse the landscape and wildlife around you in the remotest corner of Uganda and yet it is in class and style.  The perfect African dream vacation.  After breakfast it is off to another exciting game drive across savanna, hills, small forests, dry river beds and always the rings of mountains around you.  Animals and birds to observe, plants and trees that will amaze you as they exist in this semi-arid region of Uganda.

We are off to Karankorog Hot Springs with lots of wildlife along the way.  No game drive is the same even if you took the same route twice, there is always something new to seen and found.  The scenery, animals, birds will amaze you and it is best to keep the camera close at hand to get the best shots along the way.  Lunch at the campsite and then off for an afternoon with Karamajong people for a cultural tour as to how this proud tribe that has refused most influences for change.  Their love for cattle is comparable to the better known Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania. Their ways are unique to them and they are a proud warrior like people who believe that is their God given right to cattle, even cattle belonging to others.  You will see how they live, how they prepare food, dance, enjoy life and what their cattle means to them.
Return to campsite for dinner and a quiet night in the wilderness, or should one say, a night where the only music are the sounds of the African night in Kidepo Park.

DAY 4:- Game Drives

Another fabulous breakfast as you wake up to the sounds of birds you might have never heard before. Enjoy the wonderful breakfast prepared for you, a true culinary delight and of course there is the presentation. Morning game drive-exploring this fabulous, remote park for its wildlife, its many birds and simply enjoying the experience of viewing animals so close to the vehicle. It is surely a most breath taking experience. Lunch in the middle of African wilderness enjoying an afternoon of relaxation in the safari library or take a guided nature walk looking for animals on foot.  Dinner and a quiet night at Campsite.

DAY 5:-  Fly to Entebbe

The last breakfast at the true African wilderness, something to be missed.  Then a guided birding nature walk , lunch at the campsite and all good things somehow come to an end...your return to Entebbe, but keep your camera ready for some great aerial shots along the way.

DAY  6: Walking safari to Entebbe Airport

This is our last day on the safari and we get to do a walking safari in Entebbe as you do your shopping whilst sighting the city. Later we travel to Entebbe airport depending on your flight details!
