This 4 days Queen Elizabeth wilderness camping takes you through the second oldest national park which was previously a grazing area for local Basongora pastoralists in the late 1900’s. The park is situated in the Western region of Uganda spanning the districts of Kasese, Rukungiri & Rubiriz. Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its wildlife hosting over 500 bird species & home to 95 mammal species. This safari will take you through Ishasha sector famous for its tree climbing lions and on the same safari you be able to sight some volcanic features like the volcanic cones & crater lakes. It will proceed with amazing game drives in the kshenyi sectors & a safari boat cruise on Kazinga channel.

DAY 1:- Entebbe area, Camping
Upon your arrival in Uganda at Entebbe airport, your guide will pick you and give a full safari briefing and take you shopping for your safari drinks then head to your designated campsite. Depending on your flight details, the first highlight of your safari will be a sunset boat cruise or nature walk & relaxation. Camping will be at Botanical gardens Entebbe at a camp-site with permanent ablutions.

DAY 2:- Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After your early morning breakfast at the campsite, embark on 7hours drive to south west of the country in a safari vehicle to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will make a stop at Uganda Equator to explore this significant geographical site. The place also features rewarding photographing opportunities & continue on the drive to Queen Elizabeth national park with lunch en-route. Proceed the drive passed Mbarara town & arrive at your designated private campsite in the late afternoon for relaxation & in the evening set off for 1hour Katwa explosion crater drive to view the crater lakes in Queen Elizabeth. Your will have the opportunity for some great photos on this scenic drive which will give you most rewarding scenery of the park, craters, Lake Edward and Lake George, Rwenzori mountains to name a few. Later return to your campsite for your dinner and a 2 hours evening game drive in Uganda’s prime game viewing region to stand a chance of nocturnal animals like the bush buck, Lions e.t.c, buffaloes, elephant herds. Then return to campsite for overnight.

DAY 3:- Game drives & Kazinga Channel boat cruise.
Before sunrise, rise up for your bush breakfast at the camp and then go for an early morning game drive in this remarkable national park for it’s great game like Elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, Uganda Kobs to name a few. Return to campsite for relaxation, bush lunch and light afternoon lunch. Get ready to embark on a safari boat cruise on Kazinga Channel for 2 hours & then in the late afternoon return to campsite for dinner & get set for a 2hrs night game drive overnight.

DAY 4:- Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe Airport
Wake up with the sunrise, have you last bush breakfast in Queen Elizabeth whilst watching the camp assistants dismantle the tents & viewing the stunning sceneries of the park. After embark on your drive to Entebbe Airport with Lunch en-route. Arrive in the late afternoon depending on traffic.
