This 9 days mobile camping  is a breathtaking adventure which departs from Entebbe to explore Africa’s largest fresh water lake “Lake Victoria” and ends in Kampala. Experience some of Uganda’s wilderness on this medium tented safari which allows you to get in touch with some of Africa’s  best nature in places like camping close to Murchison falls and the explore Kibale forest national park. This safari is blended with incredible variety of African habitats from woodlands and open savannah grassland in Murchison falls and Queen Elizabeth national parks to shore forests in Entebbe and thick  forests in Kibale national park.

Uganda is home to 50% of African birds also hosting 10% of the world’s birds and has the highest concentration of primates in Africa. With this you will have got the trip of your lifetime. This area is home to an enormous array of Africa’s finest animals like the elephants, cape buffaloes, Rothchild giraffe, Nile crocodiles to name afew.

DAY 1:- Entebbe area, Camping

This safari officially begins in Entebbe, Uganda. Ujambo boots safaris is happy to assist with pre-tour arrangements. On arrival in Uganda at Entebbe airport, your guide will pick you and give a full safari briefing and take you shopping for your safari drinks then head to your designated campsite.  The first highlight of your safari will be a sunset boat cruise or nature walk. Camping will be Botanical gardens Entebbe at a camp-site with permanent ablutions.

DAY 2:- Entebbe to Murchison falls National park via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early breakfast at the camp, embark on a 6hours drive to Murchison falls with a en-route stop over at Zziwa for Rhino tracking. Take a guided nature walk to track the white Rhinos. This ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos and the only place where you will be able to rhinos in the wild in Uganda. After rhino trekking return for a picnic lunch in the home of rhino and then proceed with your journey to Murchison falls national park to your private camping grounds with bush ablutions.

DAY 3:- Game drives & Safari boat cruise

Rise up before sunrise for your wilderness breakfast at the camp & get ready for a half day game drive along the northern banks of the Nile, explore the park’s superior savannah game viewing in the Buligi area providing the chance to sight lions, Elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, herds of Kobs, to name a few. Return to camp for lunch to and relaxation, before embarking on white Nile safari boat cruise with promising wildlife encounters. This 2 hour boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls reveals plenty of wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles & water birds along the river banks. At the bottom of the falls, you will be dropped off at a walking trail to hike up to the top of the falls & transfer you will pick you up at the top of the falls & transfer you to the campsite for dinner & overnight.

DAY 4:- Murchison falls to Kibale forest

Early in the morning have the Nile breakfast then embark on a long 9hrs drive to Kibale forest National park. Kibale forest is where the West African Jungle meets East Africa. This is the main capital of primates in Africa, home to 13 primate species including about 1,500 chimpanzee. This drive will take you through verdant countryside inter passing traditional homesteads via towns of Homia dubbing oil city and fort portal that lies amidst the great Rwenzori mountains. Lunch will be en-route and you will arrive at the campsite with permanent ablution in the late afternoon.

DAY 5:- Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi Swamp walk

After early breakfast you will be transferred to the briefing point before embarking on your chimpanzee trekking activity. This park is home to rare I’Hoest’s monkey, blue monkey, grey cheeked mangabey to name a few. The walk takes about 1 & half hours to 2 hours, 1 hour is at your disposal to socialize with these beautiful creatures. Later return to your campsite for relaxation & your forest lunch. In the late afternoon you head out for another amazing activity “Bigodi Swamp walk” where you will sight a varietyof rare bird species & return to your campsite for dinner & overnight.

DAY 6:- Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National park

After your morning breakfast, embark on a 2-3hours drive to Queen Elizabeth national park travelling on the slopes of the Rwenzori mountains. Cross the Equator before reaching the private campsite in Queen Elizabeth. Have your bush lunch whilst watching as your tents are set up on the designated campsite with bush ablutions. After set off for 1hour Katwa explosion crater drive to view the crater lakes in Queen Elizabeth. Your will have the opportunity for some great photos on this scenic drive which will give you most rewarding scenery of the park, craters, Lake Edward and Lake George, Rwenzori mountains to name a few. Later return to your campsite for your dinner and a 2 hours evening game drive in Uganda’s prime game viewing region to stand a chance of nocturnal animals like the bush buck, Lions e.t.c, buffaloes, elephant herds. Then return to campsite for overnight.

DAY 7:- Game drive & Kazinga Channel boat cruise.

Before sunrise, rise up for your bush breakfast at the camp and then go for an early morning game drive in the Kashenyi sector remarkable for it’s great game like Elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, Uganda Kobs to name a few. Return to campsite for relaxation and bush lunch. Get ready to embark on a safari  boat cruise on Kazinga Channel for 2 hours & then in the late afternoon return to campsite for dinner & overnight.

DAY 8:- Queen Elizabeth national to Kampala City with a stopover at the Equator

Rise up before sunrise, grab a cup of coffee & go for an early morning game drive. This will be our last game drive in this amazing park. We get to feel and enjoy the diverse ecosystem of this park and the wilderness it holds. Return to the campsite in the mid-morning for late bush breakfast whilst watching the safari stuff dismantle the safari tents and embark on your drive to Kampala.   You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in the 2 hemispheres at the same time. Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

DAY 9:- Kampala walking safari

This is our last day on the safari and we get to do a walking safari in Kampala as you do your shopping whilst sighting the city. Later we travel to Entebbe airport depending on your flight details!
